Our client, a leading project management consultancy has an opportunity for a civil engineer who is looking for a new career trajectory. This is an opportunity to move to the client side of the industry with a leading and highly regarded player.

They are looking for an engineer with a consulting engineering background encompassing roads and drainage infrastructure. Working alongside project directors you will be assisting with the procurement and management of design and delivery teams, master planning, planning applications, tracking progress and co-ordination of contractors and external stakeholders.

About you: A degree qualified civil engineer who is either chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers (or an equivalent body), or approaching chartered status. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential to perform this role well. You will forge long lasting working relationships with clients who include many of the UK’s leading developers. A background in design should be complimented with project delivery experience that includes some client interface. You must also have the drive and interest to learn new project management skills and to make use of the opportunities provided to learn and develop.
