Overview

Reporting to a civil engineering associate you will work on urban and out of town developments in the private and public sectors. These will typically include commercial & industrial, healthcare, education, large residential and major re-generation projects. The position offers training matched by excellent career prospects. They are a leading civil, structural and M&E design consultancy with a reputation for technical excellence and customer care, carrying out major projects in the UK and internationally. They have a strong development infrastructure capability and a long history of working with many off the UK’s most prominent, leading developers.

You will be mentored and supported as you carry out a range of work to provide flood risk engineering and detail roads and drainage design. Duties will include the production of detailed drainage design and SuDS, S278 works and S106 applications, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications. Their designs are all carried out within a BIM framework and more and they are early adopters of new technologies.

This is a position for someone who is committed to developing their engineering skills. You will ideally have had some experience of producing flood risk assessment and have knowledge of MicroDrainage or similar industry standard software.
