This is an opportunity to progress within a design practice known for its thoughtful and distinctive approach to engineering. The firm is respected for designing  complex heavy civil and building projects across the United Kingdom and abroad. This position has a focus on design and build projects, with emphasis on structural design and optimisation, covering material behaviour, construction methodology, and the practical demands of safe and efficient delivery on site. With established relationships across major tier one contractors. The role involves contact with clients, providing design advice at concept development and pre‑planning stages through to construction.

Company Overview: A British owned consultancy, the firm  employs  sixty technical staff. Their work spans permanent and temporary works design as well as construction engineering. Current projects include high rise buildings, rail infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and sensitive heritage schemes. Their workload  and headcount is steadily growing  in the UK and internationally, providing  strong prospects for career progression.

Your Profile: A degree qualified civil or structural engineer with a minimum of five years design experience. You should be an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers, or Institution of Structural Engineers, or similar body. Currently working at project or senior engineer level, and a record of designing and delivering  steel and concrete design packages.
