Secured major project work has created an urgent requirement for a senior civil engineering manager with this leading consultancy. Our client, a well established medium size civil and structural practice has a reputation for high quality work with prestige clients. Their work has been recognised with a number of engineering and sustainability awards. This is an opportunity for a senior chartered civil engineer to deliver major developer led infrastructure projects.

Project Work: Your first project will be delivering complex civil engineering infrastructure for £500 million campus development. This substantial project in the London region has gained planning approval and is moving into design and construction phases with an estimated eighteen month input. Your role will be to manage and co-ordinate the design and delivery of roads, drainage, bridges, SUDS, flood alleviation measures and to work closely with stakeholders that include the Environment Agency, local authorities, utilities and sub consultants. More generally you will provide technical leadership to a team of six civil engineers and will play a key role in the successful delivery of their future pipeline of projects. Occasional site visits will be required.

About you: A chartered civil engineer operating at principal / associate level or equivalent. A background in delivering major UK developer led infrastructure projects. A record of technical leadership with proven stakeholder management experience. Communication skills are critical to the role as is the ability to provide guidance to junior engineers.
