Our clients’ building structures expertise covers new and historic refurbishment projects. Their technical expertise and creativity attracts complex and prestigious commissions from leading architects, developers and custodians of historic buildings. They have an opportunity for a chartered or incorporated civil (ICE) or structural engineer(IStructE) with a background in building structures design and technical supervision. Consideration will be given to candidates on the cusp of achieving chartered or incorporated status.

You will be responsible for delivering your own projects with an emphasis on re-development and refurbishment schemes in Central London. Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry and timber design is preferred. The role will involve working closely with clients at initial advisory and concept stages through to completion. You will provide guidance to a highly experienced and well trained team of engineers and technicians that includes engineers and technicians with specialist refurbishment expertise. There is a strong emphasis on training for all staff with regular in-house CPD seminars and fieldtrips.

Their track record of putting engineers successfully through chartership is excellent, you should share a willingness to pass on your knowledge and support. The firm offers long term prospects and the potential for further progression into senior management.
