A building structures engineer with technical and creative flair is required by this acclaimed building structures practice. Their purpose-built offices are in the heart of London’s West End, it is home to one hundred and fifty structural engineers, technicians and support staff. You will be involved at every stage of the design process and care will be taken to ensure you understand the technical, commercial and management issues involved. In time you will manage your own schemes with close support from senior members of the project team. Their projects include commercial, arts, healthcare and educational buildings, historic restorations, bridges and sculptures. You will be collaborating with leading architects and you can expect to work on projects attracting industry recognition. Their projects have received an exceptional number of RIBA, RICS and Civic Trust awards. Projects will make innovative use of a range of materials, your own experience must at least include knowledge of steel and concrete design. You should have a 2:1 or above in structural or civil engineering from a reputable university and be keen take advantage of the mentoring and training provided to achieve chartership with the ICE or IStructE.
