This position for a senior level civil / structural offers technical variety, a focus on prestige schemes and the right conditions for career advancement. Our client is successful and profitable, their workload is with leading developers and contractors, their projects are large, complex, technically challenging, they are high profile, landmark developments. This role will initially have a focus on projects in central London.

Your Role: Typical engineering work will include structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry and timber, design of deep basements, façade retentions, temporary works design and value engineering. You will report to the managing director and will take responsibility for project delivery and help with the guidance and mentoring of staff. There will be regular contact with key representatives of the UK’s development and construction scene. Good communication and presentation skills are essential.

Profile Required: You should be a chartered civil or structural engineer, or equivalent, with a strong technical grasp and good “people” skills.  As well as managing detail design production, your technical advice will be consulted at a high level during tender and pre-construction phases, putting you in contact with leading industry figures.
