Five years’ work on one of London’s largest civil engineering projects, plus invaluable project management experience is on offer with a leading civil engineering consultancy. Our client is looking for a degree qualified civil engineer with strong organisational and communication skills, combined with a strong technical background.

You will be a key member of the team tasked with ensuring the timely delivery of Silvertown tunnel. The £1.2 billion project will connect Greenwich Peninsula and West Silvertown providing much needed connectivity. Working for one of the project’s leading consulting engineers you will be involved in a substantial section of the works. Your role will be to provide vital support to the project team by tracking progress, handling requests for information, assisting with design co-ordination and programming. You will report to and work alongside one of their senior design co-ordinators who will provide guidance and direction. You will be home based until current guidance changes and then located at the projects’ headquarters in Canary Wharf, East London, there will be occasional site visits. The project is being delivered by Riverlinx and you will have regular contact with its joint venture partners.

You should have at least two years industry experience and a 2:1 degree or above in civil or structural engineering. A background in design or design/ delivery is required, this could be have been gained with a contractor or consultancy.
