Overview

A building structures position focused on prestige work with an emphasis on London projects. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment for a highly regarded, medium size practice, a firm providing excellent working conditions and more involvement throughout the whole design process. You will work closely with architects and contractors and make regular site visits. Supported by a senior manager, a chartered structural engineer , your role will include providing input at concept design, and detail design stages, and you will gain invaluable delivery, commercial and management experience.

Company Overview:  An independently owned practice employing over seventy staff that has traded successfully for over forty years. Their expertise is in structural, Façade and M&E engineering and they have an international workload.  This is a European owned firm, the position is in their long established London office that has a focus on building structures engineering.

Project Workload: An emphasis on new developments, punctuated by high rise schemes, typically up to 40 storeys, and major refurbishments. Projects include student accommodation, hotels, multi-storey residential, education, commercial and healthcare buildings.

Profile Required: You should have a 2:1 degree, or above, in structural or civil engineering. Your work experience should include at least four years of building structures design. Knowledge of Revit is advantageous, familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design is essential, as is familiarity with using industry standard design and analysis software.
