A structural engineer with an interest in the creative side of structural design is required by this highly regarded medium size building structures consultancy. They have a reputation for providing generous employment terms and an excellent working environment and are situated in new, well resourced Central London offices. One of their busy project teams is looking for an engineer who wants to go beyond mainstream engineering to work on complex projects that deliver innovative and elegant designs.

You will be joining a capable team headed up by an associate director who will also provide mentorship. Your workload will diverse covering air right projects that requires agile and light design and construction, the development of historic heritage buildings, multi-storey buildings of slender RC design, advanced timber structures and much more. They work with the country’s leading architects and together they continue to win many awards for their work.

The company has a strong belief in improving peoples lives through their work and this is well illustrated in their project portfolio. You should share their passion for improving the built environment and be a degree qualified civil or structural engineer with a 2:1 or above from a reputable university, experience of design using the commonly used materials is essential. You should also relish being challenged and be keen to learn new skills. You will be assisted to achieve chartered status through the IStructE or ICE. First class training, support and mentorship is provided.
