Their projects span commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial projects. You will join a well established structural engineering team and be supported by civil engineering colleagues.

Company Overview: A consulting practice with a forty year history, it is resolutely independent and focused on providing engineering expertise, value and service. They are especially well known for their building structures work, supported by M&E, geotechnical and civil engineering services, often on fully integrated multidiscipline projects. The expertise they provide includes planning, concept and detail design, expert witness services, new, refurbishment and conservation. Your Role: You will be involved in new and refurbishment projects with an emphasis on structural refurbishment work. The position will involve regular site survey and appraisal work, scheme design and detail design delivery. Projects will typically be in RC, steel and masonry, you will allocate work, check designs prepared by juniors engineers and provide guidance.

Your Profile: A chartered, incorporated – or nearing chartered status- civil or structural engineer with ten or more years’ building structures design experience that includes structural refurbishment. You should be conversant in steel and concrete design and have had some experience of survey and inspection work.
