Overview

A BIM technician with three or more years’ experience is required by a leading independent firm providing integrated architectural, M&E and civil engineering services. This is an opportunity for a technician with co-ordination experience who has come from an architectural, structural or M&E background focused on building projects.

You will provide support to the BIM manager and work closely with in-house architects and engineers, this will involve co-ordination meetings, clash detection, walkthroughs and the development and integration of dimensional principals for Revit and Navisworks. You will be responsible for managing project data, sourcing additional information when requested whilst driving modelling best practice and ensuring compliance with BIM execution plans and RIBA stages.

About you: You should have a degree in structural, civil or M&E engineering or architecture.  A background using Autodesk Navisworks,  2D/3D AutoCAD and at least three years’ experience with a focus on Revit. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to continued professional development for which there is on-going support.
