This leading medium sized consultant is synonymous with high quality building structures design. Their varied workload focuses on technically challenging projects valued up to £150m. This is an opportunity to gain invaluable project experience and training with a company that places much emphasis on staff welfare and career development. Under the mentorship of an associate you will take responsibility for delivering projects. Most this work is in London and includes commercial, residential, heritage, arts and healthcare commission. Their projects are predominantly new schemes, they are also highly capable at handling complex and sensitive refurbishment work. They are a multi-discipline firm led by their structures team, they have accumulated many RIBA awards.

You should be a degree qualified civil or structural engineer with a 2:1 or above. Good interpersonal skills are essential, there will be regular client contact, site visits and design team meetings. Your professional development will be supported by on-going training and support, they provide IStructE and ICE approved training schemes. You should have experience of steel and concrete design and some experience of finite element modelling software and Auto CAD.
