Overview

An opportunity that will enable you to work on remarkable structures whilst receiving first class training and development support. The London office of this multi-discipline practice has a twenty-five strong building structures team with the expertise to innovate and design the most demanding projects.
Current examples of the scale and complexity of work underway includes a structure that has one of the largest subterranean excavations in the UK. A significant proportion of this 300,000 square foot structure is concealed below ground requiring close working with in-house geotechnical experts. The building’s aesthetically pleasing steel superstructure sits on a thirty meter, five storey basement. It is here, deep below ground where the reason for the projects’ remarkable design is located and where ninety tonne’s of cutting edge, high precision  technology rests on deep slabs, encased in a structure that minimises vibration and ensures stability at all times. Remarkable too is that this, Albert Hall size excavation, is in the heart of the city. Another science and technology driven project is the structural design of two buildings for a seventy-acre science park. Both structures have been designed to provide environmentally advanced column free space, their innovative eye catching design incorporates steel canopies over roof terraces. There are many other intriguing projects including equally high value, commercial, residential and arts building structures. Moving forward you can be assured of on-going technical challenges that will greatly expand your structural engineering know-how.
