Overview

Our client is an international forensic engineering and dispute resolution consultancy with expertise in the heavy civil engineering, construction and energy sectors. They have contributed to the settling of some of the largest claims and  disputes around the globe and often provide expert witness services for litigation purposes. Their clients include loss adjusters, legal practices and insurers. They employ a range of technical and commercial professionals, from time to time to they need to appoint specialist expertise. In this instance they are looking for a chartered civil (MICE), Structural (MIStructE), or European Engineer /FEANI  (Eur Ing) with a background in designing underground structures and metro stations.

The contact duration is envisaged at ten weeks, they anticipate a minimum forty hour per week input. The work is focused on problems around the design of underground structures, the engineer is required to investigate the design and identify the problems that have arisen and the root cause. This work can be done form home with the potential need for one or two site visits. An immediate start is available.
