Our client, an established civil and structural consultancy is looking for a structural engineer for their newly opened London office. This is an opportunity to join a firm that is ambitious and growing, they are technically accomplished, consistently securing heritage and building awards for solving complex engineering problems.
Company Overview: An independently owned engineering consultancy established over a decade ago, their building structures division designs diverse commercial, education, conservation and residential schemes in the UK and internationally. They have a reputation for producing practical, innovative, and economical designs that are delivered with high levels of client care. Their lead discipline is building structures, this is complimented by temporary works and developer led infrastructure expertise. The business has strong environmental credentials , they integrate ecological responsibility directly into their work through the reuse of building materials and by supporting climate action initiatives.
Your Role: As a key member of a close knit project team, you will gain insight into every stage of the design process. You will be involved in the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures. This will be a varied workload of new and refurbishment / conservation projects, technically challenging work that will develop invaluable engineering skills.
Profile Required: You should be a degree qualified structural engineer with at least two years design experience with a focus on building structures. Ideally a graduate member of the IStructE or ICE. A willingness to learn and develop is essential.
