Our client is a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial installation projects across London and the South of England.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high standards on site and playing a key role in the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects.

The Role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing site-based electrical installation activities while remaining actively involved in project delivery.

You will work closely with Project Managers, electricians and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical operatives on site
  • Carry out electrical installation works where required
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements
  • Coordinate labour, materials and plant requirements
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and other trades
  • Complete site documentation, progress reports and health & safety records
  • Support testing, commissioning and project handovers
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively
  • Mentor apprentices and support junior electricians

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • ECS Gold Card
  • SSSTS
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams
  • Strong commercial electrical installation background
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of health & safety legislation and site procedures
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Commercial fit-out experience
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • First Aid at Work
  • Experience managing subcontract labour
  • Experience working across multiple project locations

About You

You will be a practical and proactive leader who enjoys taking ownership of projects and setting high standards on site.

You’ll be confident managing teams, coordinating site activities and building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues while remaining hands-on when needed.
