This successful, independently owned civil and environmental consultancy is looking for a degree or HND qualified engineer with roads and / or drainage design experience to join their expanding design team. They are engaged by UK’s busiest developers who are attracted by their high level of technical expertise and client care. You will be working on some of the country’s largest and more sophisticated new commercial, public sector and residential developments. Under the guidance and mentoring of an associate and a senior engineer you will be providing engineering advice and design input from feasibility, through planning, technical agreements such as S38,S278, S104 and building control approval and on to construction stage.

The role will require technical and interpersonal qualities. You will be producing highway and drainage designs together with associated drawings and calculations. There will be regular liaison with clients, water authorities the Environment agency and other stakeholders. You should have experience of Auto CAD and MicroDrainage or similar software. The company works a 35 hour week, provides a generous pension contribution, 23 to 26 days leave, depending on your level of seniority and there are regular career appraisals.
