Overview

An opportunity to work for a growing structural practice that is successful in growth sectors, especially within industrial, data centres, logistics and energy. They are a commercially  astute civil and structural engineering business providing a high level of technical expertise.

Your Role:  To support a structural associate manage a small team of capable engineers and technicians. There will be end-to-end involvement in the design and delivery process that will engage your technical and management skills. You will provide input at client advisory and conceptual stages, assist with the preparation of fee proposals, and support the development of the structures division. The position will involve extensive contact with architects, developers and design and build contractors. There will be occasional client and site visits.

Your Profile: Six or more  years design consultancy experience and a 2:1 degree, or above in civil or structural engineering. You should hold chartered or incorporated  status (or be on the cusp of chartership)  with the IStructE or ICE ,and have knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design, accompanied by the ability to think laterally. The position calls for a good communicator who can collaborate well with clients and colleagues.
