An opportunity to work on international projects in a growth sector. Our client is a multidisciplinary practice with a well established civil engineering capability. They have a long term workload with a special focus on the design and delivery of data centres, typically in the UK, Germany, Norway and Sweden. This is a key line of business for the practice delivering healthy fee margins. They now need a chartered or incorporated civil engineer to work alongside a civil associate. Their clients in this industry take a close interest the personnel involved in delivering their work, consequently some data centre/ “mission critical”  experience is essential.

You should be a civil engineer with sustainable urban drainage and flood risk assessment experience. More generally you will need good man management and client facing abilities, plus well developed communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for supervising and providing guidance to engineers and technicians and overseeing the production of Civils 3D and Revit drawings. More generally your expertise of roads and drainage development infrastructure should be strong at the planning and approvals stages.
