They have a new opportunity for an experienced, degree qualified building structures engineer with steel and concrete design expertise and project delivery expertise. Reporting to a structural associate you will work closely with their in-house and external architects to provide front end advice, concept designs and the delivery of completed building structures designs. The role will involve close working with clients and the supervision of junior engineers and technicians.

They have a healthy order book with work spread across several buoyant sectors. Projects will tend to be new, often multi-storey buildings in steel and concrete. They also work on large, complex re-purposing of existing buildings. With clients in the education, high-tech, residential, distribution and re-generation markets and beyond the workload is balanced and stable. For over fifty years they have established a reputation for quality integrated designs that are elegant and cost effective. Careful and steady growth has given them UK coverage and will provide the opportunity for promotion.

You will be joining a capable and supportive engineering team. There will be regular site visits and co-ordination with in house engineers and architects. Many of your projects will be fully integrated multidiscipline schemes. They are looking for an engineer who can work well with a range of stakeholders and provide leadership to junior engineers and technicians. You should be either chartered or close to achieving chartered status with the ICE or IStructE.
